My career has been centred on software, with roles at companies including Cognizant, Icertis and PwC. Then I started planning my own wedding.
What should have been one of the happiest projects of my life became one of the most stressful. Vendors were scattered across DMs and phone calls, quotes and receipts got lost, and every detail lived in a different place. It was so draining that it put me off planning another event.
